We believe the lawsuit to be completely without merit. Nintendo has a long tradition of delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service, and we take all reports from our customers seriously. At the time we became aware of the lawsuit, we had already taken appropriate steps to reinforce with consumers the proper use of the Wii Remote and had made stronger replacement wrist straps available. This suit has had no effect on those efforts.
I would just like to thank Nintendo for not stepping down from their high level in safety and acknowledging these problems head-on. Good work Nintendo and keep it strong!

As you know, Wiis are extremely rare and we have been looking for one since the beginning of this month. We are in desparate need of one, are lives are crumbling apart. The stories are piling up about Toys R’ Us supposedly getting “thousands” of Wiis and because of dumb soccer moms who’s kids are already getting millions of presents for Christmas, we can’t reach a Toys R’ Us over the phone. The last store we called picked up and yelled, “Customer Service!” and hung up abruplty! Every other Toys R’ Us we call either doesn’t pick up or is busy and we are getting tired of this monotony. We have gone to every chain of stores trying to find one and, obviously, been unsuccessful and appearently nobody knows when they’re getting their next shipment. I guess shipment logs don’t exist anymore and supply and demand doesn’t exist.
All I have to tell you is to try other means of getting a Wii, except eBay it’s too risky, and hopefully you’ll get one.
