We got our Wii and we were first in line because we left the house at 3 in the morning. When we arrived we sat on these benches and we ooked like homeless people. All of the incoming employees ignored us, excet a coule of people who gave us these weird looks. We were the only ones there and it felt great to be first in line…for the first 2 hours. The paranoia set in and we thought every car would be another person and we would have to get out of the car and claim our spot.
Finally, this asan women comes up and asked, “The Wii, right?” Roy and I nodded and we went into a conversation about why we came so early and our first Wii line story. We both went back to our cars and sat for 2 hours until the manager of the Target comes out and all of a sudden everybody and their chinchilla come out and we ran to the door, luckily claiming our spot as first in line. Even if we hadn’t, we would’ve gotten one because they had 35 and the line stopped growing for a long time. at about 6:12, we all got out tickets, which some sold.
We all sat there in suspense and most in a deep state of depression due to being turned away with time ticking away at our fingertips at the slowest it’s ever been. When the time came we all took out our tickets and money and prepared ourselves. We all went in the most orderky fashion I’ve ever seen and I think I made some people’s ears bleed when they handed us our Wii. We walked out with a copy of WarioWare and our Wii and we were happy.
Also, we’re getting a 2nd controller, 2nd nunchuck, and all of the games we need on Friday since we didn’t have enough money for all of that this week.
